How It Started
In 1979, our founder attended his first live concert—the KISS Dynasty Tour. As the lights dropped and pyrotechnics lit up the stage, the spectacle was overwhelming—but it sparked something powerful: a sense of wonder, joy, and transformation. That “big reveal” moment became the inspiration behind a lifelong passion for live events.
Today, that spark lives on through Reveal Events Group, an award-winning event production company based in Vancouver, Canada, producing impactful events across North America. Every member of our team can recall their own unforgettable moment—one that fuels our shared mission: to create awe-inspiring, joyful event experiences that captivate audiences and deliver real business outcomes. Meet Alex
Alex Bickers is the President and Creative Director of Reveal Events Group, and an award-winning Canadian event producer and creative event consultant with over 30 years of experience in the live events industry. Known for delivering innovative, high-impact event experiences across North America, Alex specializes in corporate event production, conferences, experiential marketing activations, and strategic event design.
His national achievements include being named Canadian Event Professional of the Year by the Canadian Event Industry Awards in both 2025 and 2019—the most prestigious individual honour in Canada’s meetings and events sector. In 2017, he was awarded the Stacy Wyatt Spirit of the Industry Award, recognizing exemplary leadership, service, and dedication to the advancement of the Canadian event industry.
Alex’s expertise has also earned him regional recognition: he was named Event Professional of the Year by the International Live Events Association (ILEA) Vancouver Chapter in 2025 and 2022, and Event Planner of the Year by the Meeting Planners International (MPI) BC Chapter in 2020. In 2021, he was listed among BizBash’s Top 250 Canadian Event Professionals and the Top 30 Event Producers and Designers in Canada.
An active leader in the industry, Alex served on the ILEA Vancouver Board from 2015 to 2019, including two terms as Chapter President. During his tenure, he created the chapter’s first scholarship program, designed to support and mentor the next generation of event planning professionals.
Alex’s mission is creating joyful experiences—for clients, collaborators, and audiences. He continues to champion event industry innovation, team empowerment, and a deep commitment to client-centered excellence. Whether producing corporate galas, national conferences, or multi-day summits, Alex is dedicated to transforming moments into meaningful, lasting memories.

David Doyle
VP of Finance & Operations
David is responsible for our overall business operations and sales. In his own words, he handles "all the boring back-office stuff" so the rest of the team can focus on creating phenomenal experiences for our clients. When he's not solving problems and driving business growth, he can be found in the kitchen, perfecting a new recipe.

Jhammi-Leigh Gunnarsen
Event Coordinator
ILEA Vancouver 2025 Up and Coming Event Professional
Jhammi knew from a young age she wanted to be a part of the events industry. Starting as a volunteer in high school and working her way through, she found the passion for creating and designing events of all sizes, from small parties to large scale trade shows. Obtaining an Event Planning Certification from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), she brings a bubbly approach to everything she does, creating lots of smiles wherever she goes.

Tyler Olchowy
Event Coordinator
ILEA Vancouver 2024 Up and Coming Event Professional
Tyler studied Television and Video Production at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, beginning his career working in film before transitioning into the event industry. Starting as a video editor, he quickly grew into managing virtual events, assisting with large-scale hybrid productions, and supporting in-person experiences. With technology as his specialty—spanning registration systems, platform integrations, and Zoom production—Tyler has the experience to confidently support every facet of an event.

Lynn Snedden
Production Coordinator
Lynn brings two decades of experience in the TV and film industry's Art Department, where she developed a strong foundation in creativity, organization, and project execution. After earning her Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) designation through the Project Management Institute (PMI), she transitioned into the event industry. Lynn now supports the Reveal Events Group team by combining her creative background and structured approach to deliver seamless, memorable event experiences.

Luisa Alvarez

Luisa studied design at the University of Fine Arts of São Paulo. When she left university she took a course with Cyro Del Nero (a Brazilian TV set designer), where her passion for set design flourished. She completed a Master’s degree in Set Design at the European Institute of Design in Madrid.
